Reason for Recall: Sample helmets did not comply with the impact attenuation tests required under 16 CFR 1203.12(d) for cold and wet conditions in the frontal/crown area. There is a possible risk of head injury from impact to this area of the helmet. ABUS is conducting this recall in coordination with the U.S. Consumer Product Safetv Commission (CPSC).
 
This recall does not affect any other ABUS products.
 
ABUS is offering a full refund of the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) of $79.99, plus applicable taxes, and shipping costs, without proof of purchase.
